22-year-old Tsukian Lamheing was crowned Miss Khiamniungan 2026 in a beauty pageant organised by the Khiamniungan Menyiu Hoikam (Khiamniungan Women Organization) during the Khaozaosie – Hok-Ah cum Mini Hornbill Festival 2026. The event was held at EAC Headquarters, Nokhu, Noklak, on 19th January 2026 under the theme “Elegance Re-defined.” The winner also received the Best Ethnic Modern Wear title along with a cash prize of Rs 30,000 and gift hampers.
Songmo Khiamniungan was declared the First Runner-up, while Tainiu secured the Second Runner-up position.
In her final answer on the theme, Tsukian Lamheing expressed that elegance transcends physical appearance and reflects character and inner values rather than outward beauty alone.
The programme was graced by Er. Khaoshai Lam, SDO, PHED, Longkhim, as the Special Guest. He emphasized that true beauty lies in reconciliation, understanding, and dedication. Stressing the role of Miss Khiamniungan, he stated that the titleholder should uphold strong values, serve as a voice for the voiceless, and advocate social awareness, inspiring young girls through commitment and dedication.
The contestants were choreographed by Jime Shiu, former Miss Khiamniungan First Runner-up 2023, who guided and mentored the participants throughout the pageant.
