Tsuru Restaurant held an exclusive pre-launch event at its new location in Zakiesato, near DDSC Stadium, Lahorijan. The event was attended by notable guests, including S Supongmeren Jamir, Lok Sabha MP from Nagaland, who served as the Chief Guest, and Rev Wati Kichu from Town Fellowship, who led the opening prayer.

Tsuru Restaurant aims to provide an authentic Japanese culinary experience in Dimapur. The establishment features traditional Japanese décor, creating a tranquil environment for diners to enjoy a range of Japanese dishes such as sushi, sashimi, and ramen. According to an update received here, ingredients for the menu are sourced from Japan and Norway, ensuring high quality and authenticity.

Founder Imnajungla Jamir, who has over 12 years of experience in Japanese cuisine and has worked with renowned chefs internationally, expressed her vision for the restaurant: “My motive to open this Japanese restaurant here in Dimapur is to introduce our community to Japanese food and culture.”

Chef Ashihe, who leads the kitchen, brings 11 years of expertise in Japanese cuisine from his previous work in Qatar, Maldives, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, promising dishes that are both flavorful and traditional.

Tsuru is set to officially open its doors to the public soon, offering a dining experience that blends Japanese cultural elegance with exceptional culinary standards.
