The Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, has issued a notice to all Sub-Divisions and Heads of Departments in Tuensang regarding the nomination process for the Governor’s Award 2025. The Directorate of Art & Culture, Kohima, Nagaland, has invited recommendations for this prestigious award, which recognizes excellence in Art, Music, and Literature.
The Governor’s Award will be conferred upon eminent practitioners, teachers, or promoters of Art, Music, and Literature in the state on the occasion of Independence Day, August 15, 2025, at Raj Bhavan, Kohima.
In this regard, the Heads of Offices in Tuensang District have been requested to submit a list of deserving individuals, along with the applicant’s bio-data, profile, reasons for selection, and supporting documents, to the Deputy Commissioner’s office on or before April 30, 2025, for onward submission to the Government.
