Tuensang, 8 September: The Tuensang District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for September was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice-Chairman DPDB, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, at the DC Conference Hall on Saturday.
After reviewing the minutes from the last meeting, the board discussed the agenda for the Dr T Ao Trophy cum-social work event on September 13. Thsapong Sangtam, DWO & Member Secretary of the Planning Committee for the Dr T Ao Trophy, presented a brief report on the overall preparation for the event. The DC requested all DPDB members to cooperate and support the success of the tournament, and to make it a memorable occasion, as the tournament will be hosted in Eastern Nagaland for the first time.
The Board also recommended the establishment of a Multi-Disciplinary Institute at Sao Chang College, Tuensang.
