Tuensang, 22 September (MTNews): The Changsao Thangjam Setshang (Chang Women Organization) has strongly condemned the appalling crime allegedly committed by Mr VJ Jose, Headmaster of Holy Angel’s School, Tuensang. Jose was accused of luring and sexually molesting four minor students of his own school on 19 September 2023. It was revealed that this was not the first instance of such misconduct by the educator.
The Changsao Thangjam Setshang through a press release on 22 September emphasized the seriousness of sexual assault on minors, highlighting its detrimental effects on the psychological and mental well-being of the victims.
In a region known for its love and peace, “an outsider earning his daily bread committing such crime to our children should be dealt with in a serious manner such that no similar cases arise in the future,” the CWO stated.
The organization called on all right-thinking citizens to come forward and condemn such reprehensible acts. They urged the law enforcement authorities to take immediate and stringent action against the accused, ensuring that he is prosecuted in accordance with the relevant sections of the law, without any leniency.
