Yangli, Tuensang, 23 September (MTNews): Oriental Theological College (OTC) in Yangli, Tuensang, hosted a thought-provoking seminar titled “Our Constitution, Our Voice: Exploring our rights as free citizens of a free nation” in collaboration with Project Constitutional Justice. The seminar, held on 23 September 2023, featured Dr Aniruddha Babar, Director of Project Constitutional Justice and a Faculty Member in the Department of Political Science at Tetso College, as the resource person.

The seminar, aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of constitutional rights and citizenship, brought together Gaonburas, Dobashis, women leaders, students, government officials, faculty, and local community members.

 

Dr Aniruddha Babar, the resource person, delivered an insightful presentation on various aspects of the Indian Constitution and the role of citizens in upholding their rights. His comprehensive talk resonated with the attendees, sparking meaningful discussions.

 

The event was chaired by Miss T Atila Sangtam and commenced with an invocation led by Mr Liyangpi, a dedicated Senior Lecturer at OTC.

 

Dr C Chemtingla Sangtam, Principal of Oriental Theological College, delivered the welcome address.
