In a reported case of overspeeding, two heavy trucks collided near the Fazl Ali College (FAC) junction along National Highway 02 in Mokokchung on the night of July 27 at around 9:00 p.m.
While no serious injuries or casualties were reported, both trucks sustained significant damage due to the impact, with one ramming into a roadside structure. One of the drivers is reported to have suffered minor injuries. The accident is currently under police investigation, and more details were awaited at the time of filing this report.
