In a remarkable initiative, Mangyang and Mürang, two-wheeler taxi operators in Mokokchung, have announced an unprecedented 40% discount on all trips to the much-anticipated Cherry Blossom Festival in Longkhum Village. This move not only demonstrates a commitment to facilitating conveyance but also reflects a unique blend of community spirit and festival joy.
Mangyang Longkumer, the Vice President of the Mokokchung District Two Wheelers Association, expressed his enthusiasm with Mokokchung Times for the groundbreaking offer, stating, “It’s the first of its kind in our land, and I know everyone is excited and would love to pay a visit for sure. So I just want to help those individuals who are facing financial problems for transportation. The tears of joy that we get from such festivals must be shared and felt by all. The roads are dusty, but I am ready to sacrifice.”
