Dimapur, September 7 (MTNews) : Greenwood School Dimapur representing Nagaland managed to beat Goa by 2-1 in the first match of the U-14 Subroto Cup held in New Delhi on Wednesday, reported SportsLIVE Nagaland and called it a “well-deserved three points for the team, as well as a positive point for the young players making their international debut.”

After a two-year hiatus, the 61st edition of the Subroto Cup International Football Tournament kicked off on September 6. They will face Indian Public School Conference (IPSC) in their next match on Thursday.

Nagaland is in Pool F, along with Goa, Haryana, and IPSC. According to the schedule, only the group winners will advance to the tournament’s quarterfinals round.
