Ungma: BWF-approved Badminton Court inaugurated at Yimtsungda Arok Sabang

In a promising development, the president of the Mokokchung District Badminton Association (MDBA), Martoshi Jamir, inaugurated a Badminton World Federation-approved carpet court at Yimtsungda Arok Sabang.

In a press release, the Soyim Shuttles Team said that the court was donated by Sharingain Longkumer, Speaker of the NLA, with the support of the Ungma Village Council. Technical guidance was provided by Watizulu Suzumeren (Chairman of DAN, Vice President of the Badminton Association of India, and Senior Vice President of the Nagaland Badminton Association).

The inauguration took place in the presence of the Ungma Village Council and the Ungma Baptist Church. Takowati Longkumer, Pastor of UBA, dedicated the court with prayers.

The Soyim Shuttlers Team also thanked all the donors and well wishers.
