He commended the Kosasanger Pusu Menden for starting and bringing about reforms among the Ao community, mentioning in particular their contribution to admitting Changki village back into the Ao community fold.

According to him, there appears to be a disparity in the number of people succeeding and excelling in various sectors of life, and that the current generation must educate and inspire the next. He also underscored the necessity of transparency and responsibility in all things pertaining to development.

He added that the world is becoming a smaller, more interconnected community and because the process of digital integration has started in the state, which will soon reach the villages, the villagers must be ready to accept any changes that may occur.

Sharingian Longkumer also commented on the political situation involving the Nagas, saying that although the people may have lost hope in it, they should remember that the Naga political solution holds the key to the future of the Nagas and that they are the most important stake holders and that everyone has an important role to play.

The Speaker also spoke on the opposition-less government and explained how the various parties have united to build a stable government.

“Without a stable government, justice will not be served, and there will not be a resolution. Development will cease. So, we must look for stability,” he stated.
He continued by saying that in order to uplift the youth, “we must be grateful, maintain lofty goals, and seek blessings.”

Ten clubs from Ungma village took part in the program and each made a cultural performance.

All invitees and participants were honored by the Ungma Village council for coming and helping to make the festival successful and entertaining, which was followed by a Tsüngremmung community feast.
