The 3rd Intra-Village Volleyball Tournament, organized by Mesempong Soyim, concluded on July 1 at the Lenyong Sector Volleyball Ground, Ungma. Held over two days—June 30 and July 1—the tournament brought together top volleyball talent from the village and highlighted the spirit of community sportsmanship.
The final match featured United Soyim Club (A) against Oriental Club (A). United Soyim Club (A) started strong, winning the first set 25–15. Oriental Club (A) responded by taking the second and third sets, both by a score of 25–20. However, United Soyim Club (A) showed remarkable resilience and composure in the fourth set, winning it 25–19 and ultimately securing the championship.
With this victory, United Soyim Club (A) has now won all three editions of the tournament, cementing their dominance in the intra-village volleyball scene.
The organizers extended their gratitude to all participating clubs, match officials, and supporters for contributing to the success of the event, and reiterated their commitment to promoting grassroots volleyball in Ungma.
