Kohima, 6 October (MTNews): Unica FC emerged as the champions of the 2nd Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) futsal tournament played at Niathu Sports, Khikha on Friday. The team defeated Black Pearl by a score of 6-3 in the final match to claim the title and received a cash prize of Rs 30,000 while the runners-up received Rs 20,000.
The winning team, Unica FC, will represent Kohima District at the Nagaland Futsal Championship scheduled to be held from 17 October 2023. A total of eight teams participated in the tournament.
