Kohima, November 11 (MTNews): Dr. Bharti Pravin Pawar, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, visited Nagaland on 11th November 2022 and held a review meeting at Raj Bhavan Conference Hall Kohima with Secretary HFW, Asangla Imti, Principal Director, Mission Director NHM, Project Director NSACS, and officers from the Department where they thoroughly reviewed the functioning of the Health Care Delivery system.
A video conference with Kiphire District was also organized from Raj Bhavan Conference Hall, which was attended by the Deputy Commissioner, CMO, Medical Superintendent, Medical Officers, and HoDs of all departments and discussed the aspirational district in depth. She also virtually inaugurated the District Hospital Kiphire’s Maternity Ward Extension.
Dr. Pawar also inspected the ongoing construction site at the New Medical College, Phriebagie, Kohima, as well as UPHC Seikhazou, where she interacted with health workers and ASHAs.
She also lastly visited the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) and had interactions with the doctors, nurses and patients.
