Union Minister of State Steel & Rural Department Faggan Singh Kulaste, who is on a 2-day visit to Nagaland reached Mokokchung on Wednesday.
Kulaste, who landed in Mokokchung accompanied by Minister of RD and SIRD Metusbo Jamir, was welcomed at the Assam Rifles Helipad in the afternoon by Advisor for Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, A Pangjung Jamir, along with DC Mokokchung Thsuvisie Phoji, SP Mokokchung Manojkumar A, and BJP Mokokchung District officials.
Later at the Deputy Commissioner Guest House, Kulaste had a meeting with BJP Mokokchung District officials in presence of Advisor, Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, Pangjung Jamir.
During the meeting, the party officials apprised him of the overall functioning of the party especially the ongoing Vishwakarma scheme and further highlighted the Party activities centered around ensuring that PM Modi’s flagship schemes reaches each and every person to the last mile. Kulaste encouraged all the BJP karyakartas to work unitedly for the uplift of the party and the people of the State in general.
The meeting was followed by an “At Home” reception at DC’s Bungalow, Mokokchung in the evening hosted by Minister of RD and SIRD, Metsubo Jamir.
It was learnt that the Union Minister of State will be meeting with the Heads of the Departments on Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) at 10:00 AM on 15 February, followed by interaction with SHGs at Ungma village before leaving for Kohima. It is also learnt that Kulaste will be making a brief visit to Impur and Mopungchuket earlier in the morning.
