Ura Academy (UA), the premier Tenyidie language body, is organizing the Ura Academy Leaders and Tenyidie Writers and Song Composers Conclave on October 25 and 26 at the Ura Academy (Badi) Headquarters, Mission Compound Road, Kohima.
The Leaders Conclave will take place on October 25 at 3 pm, featuring a flag hoisting ceremony by Rev Beilieü Shüya and the dedication of the renovated Ura Academy Hall by Rev VK Nuh. The program will be led by UA President Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu, with prayers offered by Rev Tsolie Chase. A special song will be presented by students of Nagaland University’s Tenyidie Department. Rev Beilieü Shüya will enlighten the gathering on the historical aspects of Ura Academy, while UA Vice-President Daso Paphino will present a report on the renovation of the building.
On October 26, the Tenyidie Writers and Song Composers Conclave will begin at 10 am. Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu will deliver an exhortation, and the event will also include a tribute to the late Professor Dr D Kuolie, who served as Secretary General of Ura Academy until his passing.
Speeches will be delivered by writers Rev Savito Nagi and Neichüriezo Chücha, while Zacupa Chotso and Vesesyo Rose will recite poetry. The event will also feature cultural songs and other highlights.
