Ura Academy to organize 54th Tenyidie Annual Seminar

Kohima, 19 May (MTNews): The Ura Academy (UA) is scheduled to organize the 54th Tenyidie Annual Seminar from May 30-31 under the theme ‘Language: Our Identity’ at Ura Academy Hall, Mission Compound, Kohima.

A press release issued by the organizers informed that the inaugural session will take place on May 30 at 9:30 AM, with the Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) as the guest of honor and Dr Visier Sanyü as the speaker.

The inaugural session will be marked by the lighting of the Ura Academy lamp and the presentation of Ura Academy meritorious awards for Tenyidie studies and music.

Following the inaugural session, the Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho (TKK) conclave will take place, where Vizonyü Liezietsu will address the program. Competitions in solo singing, story writing, essay writing, and poetry writing will be held in the afternoon among high school and higher secondary school students.

On May 31, in the morning, the Ura Academy Rüpfhünuo Seminar will be held with Dr Medongulie Tsiekhanuo addressing the gathering. In the afternoon, the Department of Tenyidie, Nagaland University, will conduct a research paper presentation session.

In the evening, at the valedictory function, the Angami Public Organization (APO) will be the guest of honor, Rev Kiezotuo Zhale will be the speaker, and Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu will deliver the presidential address.
The organizers have requested Tenyidie well-wishers, elders, teachers, church leaders, student bodies, and organizations to be a part of the program.
