The United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) has directed that all educational institutions under its jurisdiction in Kiphire, Longkhim, and Chare remain closed from September 1 to 6, 2025, in connection with the upcoming Mungmung-cum-Mini Hornbill Festival.
In its notification, the USSC stated that “all the educational institutions within the Sangtam jurisdictions must remain closed from 1st to 6th September, 2025.” It further added that “this is notified for strict compliance and necessary action.”
