The United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) has issued a directive to Heads of Departments and government staff under Kiphire Headquarters and Longkhim Sub-Headquarters, citing concerns over irregular attendance and lapses in service delivery.
In a notification, the conference instructed all officials to remain present at their respective stations during working hours and ensure smooth delivery of public services. It warned that surprise inspections would be conducted and that officials found absent without authorization or negligent in their duties would face serious action.
The USSC stated that the initiative aims to strengthen accountability and ensure efficient administration for the welfare of students and the general public. The conference also expressed willingness to cooperate with government initiatives undertaken in the interest of the community.
