The Kohima Orphanage Destitute Home recently organized a Vacation Bible School (VBS) themed ”Faith Heroes,” bringing together 64 students along with teachers, volunteers, and support staff, totaling over 80 individuals. Under the guidance of Medou Khoubve, the event was a resounding success.
The VBS featured engaging sessions, including Praise & Worship, Bible Lessons, Mini Maker (creative art and crafts), Practice Time, and Power Up – Spiritual Spark. The Bible Lessons were divided across three days, focusing on “Faith Heroes Hear,” “Faith Heroes Believe,” and “Faith Heroes Confess.”
The event culminated in a wonderful finale where the children showcased their learning through performances. Divided into three classes, the children gave their best, demonstrating the impact of the VBS on their young lives.
The Kohima Orphanage Destitute Home’s VBS initiative not only provided a platform for spiritual growth but also fostered creativity, teamwork, and confidence among the children.
