The Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM) faced off against the Mokokchung District Veteran Football Association and the Mokokchung Inter-Ward Football Tournament organizing committee in an exhibition match on Friday at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung. AKM was defeated 1-3 in the friendly encounter.
The veteran team featured prominent district figures, including Mokokchung’s Senior Superintendent of Police, Vesupra Kezo, District Planning Officer Chuba Phom, and others. Organized with the aim of promoting football and inspiring young players, the match also sought to strengthen the camaraderie between different sections of the community.
