Addressing the Platinum Jubilee and 49th Biennial Conference of the Sumi Aphuyemi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SAKK), former minister and NPF Central Farmers Wing chairman Y Vikheho Swu called on students and the community to aim high, preserve traditional values, and work toward self-reliance.

Recalling his political journey that began with SAKK, Swu thanked parents and elders for instilling the habits of success in children, stressing that home is the first place of learning and support.
Expressing satisfaction at the Aphuyemi people’s thirst for knowledge and achievement, he encouraged families to nurture this drive in their homes, khels, and villages, contributing to the upliftment of the community and Naga society at large.
Highlighting entrepreneurship, Swu pointed to the high-quality pork from Switzerland and kiwi from New Zealand, both partners during the Hornbill Festival 2025, urging villagers to explore similar avenues as sustainable livelihoods.
Concluding his address, he urged the gathering to stay united as one people rather than dividing along ranges, and to look up to God and lead righteous lives.
Swu was accompanied by office bearers from the NPF Pughoboto Division, who were present to support the event.
