Mokokchung, 4 December (MTNews): The Ao Students Conference (AKM) has officially announced the conclusion of the three-day grace period it had extended to the perpetrators responsible for the violent intrusion that occurred on 28 November 2023. Despite the opportunity provided for the responsible party to come forward and admit guilt, the AKM announced that no such admission had been made.
Led by Onenpong, Vice President, and Bangjungkaba Imchen, Assistant General Secretary, the AKM reaffirmed its commitment to justice and community well-being. In response to the lack of acknowledgment from the responsible party, the organization has decided to initiate its own course of action to ensure that those responsible for the reprehensible act are brought to justice.
The AKM urged the public to remain vigilant and cooperative during this process, stating that any information leading to the identification and apprehension of the perpetrators will be crucial in the pursuit of justice.
“The organization stands firm in its dedication to upholding peace and unity within the community,” it added.
For any updates or information, the AKM encouraged the public to contact the designated AKM representatives. The AKM also extended its gratitude to the community for their ongoing support and cooperation.
