Kohima, 11 December (MTNews): Sharingain Longkumer, Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, administered the Oath of Office to the newly elected member, Wangpang Konyak of the NDPP representing the 43-Tapi (ST) Assembly Constituency. The ceremony took place at his Office Chamber in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat on 11 December 2023.
Wangpang Konyak took the oath in the presence of CL John, Minister for Forest, Environment & Climate Change, Village Guards, and Kropol Vitsu, MLA & Advisor, Prison & Stationery, along with his party leaders and supporters from his constituency. The newly elected Member signed the Roll of Members of the Assembly in the presence of Khruohituonuo Rio, Secretary-In-Charge, Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
