The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Kohima Urban Division, has informed residents of Kohima Town that the water supply has been significantly affected due to depletion of sources.
In a press release, Executive Engineer Neilhoukholie Chielie stated that the ongoing dry weather, coupled with a lack of rainfall, is expected to further reduce water availability in the coming days.
The PHED has urged consumers and the general public to cooperate during this period, assuring that efforts are being made to mitigate the situation in the larger interest of all stakeholders.
