The Women Entrepreneurs Network of Nagaland (WENN) organized a workshop on the importance of regulatory business compliances and documentation, held on 21st February 2025 in Tuensang and Noklak districts. Supported by SIDBI, with knowledge partners SBI and DIC, the event aimed to equip women entrepreneurs with crucial information on business compliance.
The workshop focused on educating women entrepreneurs about the critical elements of business compliance, proper documentation, and the importance of financial literacy. It also highlighted government schemes available to support entrepreneurs. Aspiring and established women entrepreneurs from both districts attended the event, engaging in discussions and sharing best practices.
Key topics covered included financial literacy for entrepreneurs, government schemes supporting business growth, and the regulatory documentation necessary for running a business.
“The workshop not only provided valuable insights but also fostered networking opportunities among women entrepreneurs, enabling them to share experiences and best practices. WENN remains committed to empowering women entrepreneurs in Nagaland by providing them with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to thrive in the business world,” an update from the WENN said.
