The Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH), led by its President Yetshulhi Ngatsi along with the Executives, paid a courtesy call on PHED Minister, Jacob Zhimomi, today, November 1, 2025 to discuss various issues pertaining to the welfare of the Chakhesang community in Western Area and the larger Naga society.
During the meeting, the WCH brought forth several pressing concerns affecting the Chakhesang community residing in Western Area, seeking the Minister’s guidance and support. The Minister listened attentively to the issues raised and offered valuable suggestions for the development and progress of the Chakhesang community.
The Minister also apprised the team about the significant challenges facing the Naga society and emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and harmony, echoing the values of peaceful coexistence that have been the hallmark of the Naga forefathers.
“The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides expressing optimism about continued collaboration and progress,” an update received here stated. The WCH expressed gratitude to the Minister for his time and considered approach in addressing the concerns raised.
