The Western Sümi Hoho (WSH), Western Sümi Kukami Hoho (WSKH), and Western Sümi Totimi Hoho (WSTH) jointly called on the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, Aotula T Imchen, IPS, at her office.
The Hoho bodies extended a warm welcome to Smti. Imchen on her assumption of office as Commissioner of Police of Dimapur, Niuland, and Chümoukedima Commissionerate. Acknowledging the significance of her appointment, the delegation expressed confidence that under her leadership, the Commissionerate would witness strengthened law enforcement, enhanced public confidence in policing, and consolidated peace and security across the districts.
Reiterating their commitment, the Hohos assured the fullest cooperation of the community with the Police Department in matters of law and order, public welfare, and harmonious coexistence.
They also affirmed their readiness to actively collaborate in efforts to curb anti-social elements, address social issues, and guide the younger generation towards constructive and progressive pursuits, reinforcing a partnership between the community and the police for the betterment of the region.
