The recent topic doing rounds and dominating most media pages including social forums and platforms as to “Who Should Be The Next DGP” is not even worth the debate.
I have never seen so much of Nepotism, Favouritism, Cronyism, Elitism, Narcissism (you name it) amalgamated and clubbed together into one issue which is very very unfortunate, yet this predicament was simply avoidable, had those in powers did just go by the book(Rule)
This is exactly when Charles Darwin’s “Survival Of The Fittest” comes into play and which is at its highest.
These self proclaimed guardians and keepers of the law (and their likes) who had usurped all the powers through sheer money and muscle force had been hijacking and holding Nagas at ransom (especially the future posterity) since day one and has done enough damage to the society beyond redemption.
As far as our so called Christian State is concerned where all these ‘Holier Than Thou’ jokers preach but does exactly the opposite to Christ’s teaching, the tragic irony “The Law applies only to the Less Privileged and Less Fortunate but not for the Elites” has eroded our Justice systems to the point of collapse and beyond reckoning.
In the NLTV interview ‘AKUKAU KAHUTO CHISHI’ had rightly said, (quote)
“When people who owes their power and position to the Law….., breaks the Law, how can you expect those who operates outside the Law to obey the Law????” (unquote)
Now, everything said yet I am afraid that even after much debates and concerns….come 2023 Election (or Dec.2022, if preponed), these same crooks will most likely be placed at the top helm of affairs, because it will be none else but rather “US AGAIN (THE PUBLIC) WHO WILL ELECT/CHOOSE THESE SAME BUNCH OF THUGS TO RUN THE GOVERNMENT” and the history of corruption will repeat itself again and again till Kingdom come.
