Tuli, February 11 (MTNews): Rajeshwari Karuna School, Tuli, Mokokchung has been selected among the Top 20 National winners of the Wipro Earthian Sustainability Education Program for Schools. The school was selected out of 1200+ entries across the nation from amongst the themes – Biodiversity, Waste, and Water Management. Rishad Premji, Executive Chairman of Wipro Ltd. and Anurag Behar, CEO of Azim Premji Foundation felicitated the awardees on February 11 in Bengaluru. The award was attended by a 5-student team and 1 teacher, accompanied by the Earthian Sustainability Educator.
The Wipro Earthian, now in its 11th year, has reached over 13000+ schools and 4000+colleges since its inception. The core objective of this program is to integrate Sustainability education into the learning process through critical thinking and action, thereby empowering change in their context and situation.
