In light of the unresolved matter concerning the Lotha Baptist Churches Association (LBCA), the District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, Vineet Kumar, yesterday issued an order prohibiting the assembly of five or more persons at the Vankhosung Mission Centre compound and within a 200-meter radius of the area.
The order, issued under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, cited the need for urgent preventive measures to maintain peace and tranquility due to the prevailing situation.
