Mokokchung, 10 February (MTNews): Wokha entered its third day of total shutdown as various Civil Society Organizations (CSO) intensified the protest by locking down the Deputy Commissioner’s office, closing the Sub-Divisional Office (National Highways), Wokha, and imposing a complete stop on vehicular movement and commercial activities. With no positive response from the authorities, the CSO has also decided to extend the total lockdown, according to local news reports.
Meanwhile, earlier during the day, public gathered at police point Wokha to show their support for the band and urged the government to provide an amicable solution at the earliest.
