Mokokchung, August 5 (MTNews): The Chakhesang Region, GPRN, NSCN (IM) has reiterated its earlier resolution “not to accept the Naga solution without a flag and constitution.” According to a press release received here, the Chakhesang Region of NSCN (IM) “had a critical introspection of the calamitous history of the Naga political movement and noted the manner how the Nagas were cheated repeatedly in the name of the Naga political solution.”
Given the present development “where another such Naga accord is being planned in the same manner as how the 16 Point Agreement cheated the Nagas,” the Chakhesang Region expressed determination not to allow “Nagas’ honour and pride to be prostituted again.”
Meanwhile, the Naga Rengma Hills (CAA), GPRN has expressed appreciation and gratitude to the Collective Leadership of NSCN (IM) for giving equal opportunity to the Rengmas by inducting Joseph Rengma as a Member of the Collective Leadership. “This will go a long way to strengthen the spirit of Naga integration,” a press release received here said.
