Aboriginal Energy Pvt. Ltd. conducted a one-day workshop on ‘Renewable and Solar Energy’ for students of Grades-XI and XII Science on the 21 June 2024 at Livingstone Foundation International, Dimapur. The workshop was led by the company’s founder and an alumnus of LFI, Anguvika Yepthomi and the head of sales and marketing, Chirag Chetia.

The interactive session mainly dwelt on the prospect of making solar energy as a sustainable and clean source of energy. The company has, in its three years of outstanding research and experience with clients from the US, UK, Japan, etc. , made considerable headways in harnessing solar energy for domestic as well as commercial purposes thereby working relentlessly towards clean energy for a better environment.

Through PowerPoint presentations, the company brought to light several aspects of solar energy and the impacts of its usage for mankind and nature. They also showcased several innovative developments made in the field of harnessing and using solar energy whereby they have been able to install solar panels and solar lamps even in remote locations of Mon district. Another landmark in their quest for a sustainable development was the use of bamboo lamp posts instead of the traditional steel or concrete posts.

The workshop was also marked by demonstration sessions and queries by students which proved very purposeful and wholesome for the students as well as the teachers.

It may be mentioned that Aboriginal Energy is a renewable energy based enterprise that was started with a vision to deliver sustainable energy solutions for every household. Since its inception in 2019, it has dedicated itself to working with local communities, farmers, businesses, and governments to develop clean technology that meets the unique needs of every sector.
