On the second day of the ongoing 56th General Session of the Centre Chakhesang Sports Association (CCSA), hosted by the Sakraba Youth Organization at Sakraba village, wrestling competitions were held. The wrestling took place at Thürinye-küde, Sakraba village, with Kulupoyi V. Vadeo, President of Rising Youth, RPP Phek District, gracing the occasion as the Guest of Honor.
In his speech, Vadeo encouraged the wrestlers to sincerely thank Almighty God for bestowing good health, wealth, and wisdom. He also reminded them to positively utilize these God-given resources and engage in constructive activities. Vadeo advised the wrestlers against misusing their health, physical power, and strength in anti-social activities, urging them instead to cultivate their talents to glorify Almighty God and elevate the community’s reputation.
Furthermore, Vadeo congratulated Veposu Nienu and his colleagues on their successful tenure and thanked the people of Sakraba village for hosting the 56th General Session of the CCSA in 2025. Earlier, the welcome address was delivered by Veposu Nienu, President of the Centre Chakhesang Sports Association, who expressed gratitude to well-wishers and guests. The program was overseen by Vesuto D. Vadeo, Vice President of the Centre Chakhesang Sports Association.
A total of 46 wrestlers participated in the event, comprising 28 men and 18 women. The 56th General Session of the CCSA will continue until January 25.
