In celebration of Bank Nationalization Day, Yingli College hosted an awareness campaign on ‘Career Prospects in SBI’. The event, organized by the State Bank of India’s Regional Business Office (RBO) in Mokokchung, in collaboration with the Career Guidance and Counselling Cell of Yingli College, aimed to provide valuable insights into the banking sector.
The campaign began with an introductory note from L Peter Longchar, Branch Manager of SBI Longleng. Imtisanen Ao, Deputy Manager at RBO Mokokchung, State Secretary of All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC), and CCM SBIOA NE Circle, served as the primary resource person. Ao offered a detailed explanation of career opportunities and scope within the banking industry.
Asst Manager, SBI Mokokchung, Viliezoto Neikha, discussed the intricacies and strategies required for clearing SBI-related exams. The program concluded with the resource persons emphasizing the importance of local people entering the banking sector.
