ALS IAS Mokokchung under Growth Centre Mokokchung provides live transmission of Civil Services Exam (UPSC/NPSC) and NEET/JEE/NSEE classes from Delhi via satellites.This is an initiative of ‘Growth Centre Mokokchung – Strive to live’ which was founded in 2019 by Temjenmoa Jamir, son of Minister Metsubo Jamir, with the goal of promoting education and life skill development for the youth.
The institution is in Arkong ward, next to The Restaurant 2. ALS IAS is financially supported by Metsubo and his family in the hope to provide quality education at the national level to the people of Mokokchung.
Imtiakum Jamir of Khar village, who is now a graduate teacher of Govt. Middle School, is the co-ordinator of Growth Centre Mokokchung.
ALS, in his opinion, is the platform that offers high quality education at affordable cost. Since Mokokchung is a place with many intelligent students, but owing to financial limitations, not many can afford the luxury to go outside and seek coaching for competitive examinations, he believes that people should take advantage of the national level education provided in the coaching centre.
“I mean, why not seize this chance when it is at your doorstep and make the most of it? You will undoubtedly gain a lot if you are true and committed to becoming a civil servant,” he remarked.
He admitted that he was once an aspirant himself and struggled to get access to study materials or proper coaching during his time. Therefore, he believes that a platform like ALS should be utilized.
“We also have visiting lecturers from Delhi at times,” he says, adding that “mentorship and doubt clearing sessions are available for every class and subject.”

NEET (2019) : 1 MBBS
JEE (2019) : 4 Qualified
NSEE (2019) : 2 Qualified
Fee Structure:
1. Civil Service Examination: For 10 Months Course + study materials + Mock Test (Weekly and Monthly) + (Lecturers) = Rs. 82,600 (can pay in two installments)
2. NEET/JEE/NSEE= For 10 Months Course = Rs. 60,000 (Monthly payment of Rs. 6000 allowed)
3. Crash course for JEE/NEET/NSEE (April-May) = Rs. 22,000
4. Scholarship Exam merit students can get upto 50% discount.

· Morning Batch: 8 am to 1 pm
· Evening Batch: 2 to 7:30 pm
