Youths trained on value addition of fruits

Mokokchung, July 22 (MTNews): Training on value addition of fruits and vegetables was conducted under the banner of MITA Ministry of Alempang Baptist Church, Mokokchung, Nagaland from 19th -21st July 2022. There were 18 participants from Mokokchung Town, Assam and Mon District.

The Participants were taught to make various vegetable pickles, RTS Juice, seasonal fruit candy and fruit squash. Maoienla T.O., KVK Mokokchung was the trainer for the sessions.

It is to be noted that this endeavor is to build and empower the unemployed youths to lead a productive and self reliant lifestyle. This initiative was solely program and developed by the MITA Ministry under Alempang Baptist Church.

“The Ministry aims to engage young people to be equipped in this context and to be progressive,” the pastor of the church added in line to the direction of the program.
