In a promising development for Zunheboto, “Asa Kütsa Ki,” a barber shop initiated by the Green Club Zunheboto, has officially opened its doors. The brief opening ceremony featured Tavinto Chishi, President of the Green Club, discussing the diverse employment opportunities available to the youth in our society, using the operation of a barber shop as an example. He also emphasized the importance of money circulation within the community and expressed gratitude to the generous donors who made the shop’s opening possible.
Avilo Achumi, Assistant Pastor of Children at SBCZ, blessed the shop with a prayer, and attendees enjoyed refreshments. The shop will be managed by 25-year-old Phuyeka Achumi, hailing from Luthsumi village. It is conveniently located in Project Colony, opposite the main SBI office. Residents and visitors in Zunheboto can contact Phuyeka Achumi at 9863003715 to avail themselves of the services offered at “Asa Kütsa Ki Barber Shop.”
This initiative not only provides essential grooming services but also showcases the positive impact of community-driven efforts in creating employment opportunities and contributing to the local economy.
