Mokokchung, 11 January (MTNews): The 24th Tzürangkong Kaketshir Mungdang (TKM) Triennial General Conference is currently underway at Watiyim, Mokokchung, drawing more than 300 delegates from the 8 units of the Tzürangkong Students’ Conference (TKM). Commencing on January 10th, the conference, themed “Teperang Tarutsü Nübusen (Radiant Posterity),” is set to continue until the 12th.

TKM President Imlisunep highlighted the conference’s emphasis on sports, seminars, and workshops aimed at providing valuable insights to students on diverse career paths. The conference seeks to guide students in making informed decisions regarding careers in sports, competitive examinations, entrepreneurship, and the agri & allied sector, leveraging the immense potential in the Tzürang valley.

On the second day of the conference, Supongmeren Hoki, Chairman of NEPED, Government of Nagaland, graced the sports event as the special guest. In his address, Hoki stressed the importance of such student conferences, emphasizing that they serve not only as platforms for academic learning but also as opportunities to foster unity, social cohesion, and the pursuit of goals centered around peace and brotherhood.
