A total of 25,637 voters will be eligible to vote in the ensuing Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) election. This will be a crucial election as it will be the first ULB election in Mokokchung in decades.
Among the 18 wards under MMC, Marepkong has the lowest number of voters with 756 while Artang has the highest with 2081 voters. Five of the wards have lesser than 1000 voters while only one ward has more than 2000 voters.
Over all, women voters outnumber male voters. There will be 36 polling stations in total spread across the 18 wards.
