Mokokchung, March 17 (MTNews): After a gap of 25 Years, the Nagaland Forest Department participated at the All India Forest Sports Meet that was held at Panchkula, Haryana from March 10 to 14.
It was the 26th edition of the Sports Meet which saw a total of 2,400 Forest personnel as participants from 26 states, 4 union territories and 7 Institutes where Bendanginla, UDA of Mokokchung Forest Division won a bronze medal under women’s singles badminton (Women Veteran) for the Forest Department Nagaland.
A Felicitation Program for the bronze medal winner was held at Divisional Forest Office Mokokchung on 17 March.
The Program was chaired by Moa, Head Assistant, Mokokchung Forest Division and invocation was pronounced by Chubanaro, UDA.
Bendanginla, UDA, shared her experiences at the All India Forest Sports Meet.
A speech was given by Moamongba, Assistant Conservator of Forests where he encouraged all the rank and file of the Forest Department to work with sincerity and discipline and to work with dedication for more laurels in the coming sports meet.
Dr Sentitula, IFS, DFO Mokokchung stated that it was an immense pride for the Department and especially thanked the PCCF & HoFF, Dharmendra Prakash, IFS for his initiative and for giving the opportunity to the officers and the staff to participate and be a part of such an auspicious meet.
She encouraged the officers and staff to continue with the same spirit and work hard to bring more medals and good name to the Nagaland Forest Department and to the Mokokchung Forest Division in particular.
