Sovima, 28 March (MTNews): Chümoukedima defeated Peren district by 9 wickets in their match played at Nagaland Cricket Stadium.

Peren could not put up a strong performance after choosing to bat first, as they were bowled out for 66 runs (in 21.1 overs). Only Amit Marak (scoring 19 runs) and Bishu (also scoring 19 runs) managed to contribute significantly, but they were unable to convert their starts into bigger scores. For Chümoukedima, Aloto Sumi took a spectacular 5 wickets, well supported by Ravi and Anungsang Lemtur, who claimed 3 wickets and 1 wicket respectively.

In the other match played at Sovima Cricket Ground, Niuland defeated Tseminyu by 9 wickets to secure their spot in the semifinals.

Tseminyu were bowled out for 43 runs (in 10.4 overs) after winning the toss and choosing to bat first. Gwakenye Khing (scoring 10 runs) was the only notable batsman, as the rest of the lineup surrendered their wickets without making significant contributions. Lovito Momin took 3 wickets, Abhijeet claimed 2 wickets, while Sujit and Adze took 1 wicket each for Niuland.

In the chase, Niuland comfortably reached the target in 6.1 overs, losing only one wicket. For Tseminyu, Hyunyelo Khing took the lone wicket.
