5 Nagaland journalists selected for KPC-NBOCWWB Media Fellowship 2023

Mokokchung, 27 August (MTNews): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) has announced the selected Fellows for the 2nd edition of the Kohima Press Club and Nagaland Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (KPC-NBOCWWB) Media Fellowship 2023.

In the print category, Imti Longchar of The Morung Express (Dimapur), Reyivolu Rhakho of Eastern Mirror (Kohima) and Thejoto Nienu of Eastern Mirror (Kohima) have been selected, while Caisii Mao of The Morung Express (Dimapur) has been selected under the Photography category and Grace Khuvung of NLTV (Kohima) under Video Journalism.

 

As part of the fellowship program, the KPC-NBOCWWB media fellows will receive a grant of Rs 50,000 for a specified number of in-depth stories highlighting the experiences and challenges faced by the construction industry in Nagaland, written/captured/reported and published/broadcasted over a period of three months from September to November 2023.

 

Meanwhile, it was informed that the KPC, in collaboration with the NBOCWWB, will be organizing an orientation workshop for the selected fellows on 31 August at LCS Building, Kohima at 12 noon. Besides the selected fellows, all the members of KPC have also requested to attend the program.
