The Mokokchung Electrical Sub-Division has announced a scheduled power shutdown on 25 May 2024 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This six-hour interruption is necessary to replace a 33KV pole that is at risk of collapse.
Er Achanger T Aier, Sub Divisional Officer of Mokokchung Electrical Sub-Division, stated that the affected areas will include Mokokchung town, as well as all villages in the Asetkong and Onpangkong areas.
