Mokokchung, January 30 (MTNews): Independent MLA, T Yangseo Sangtam of 60-Pungro/Kiphire Assembly Constituency and Thongwang Konyak of NDPP in 46 Mon Town Assembly Constituency has tendered resignations from the membership of the Thirteenth Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA).
NLA Secretary-in-charge Khruohitunuo Rio in a notification issued today informed that the NLA has accepted the resignation of T Yangseo Sangtam and Thongwang Konyak with effect from the forenoon of January 30. Consequent upon their resignations, the NLA Speaker declared the Assembly Constituency seats of 60-Pungro/Kiphire and 46-Mon Town as vacant.
