Wokha, 17 September (MTNews): Lotha Hoho (LH) welcomed the new team of Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) in a short farewell cum felicitation program conducted at Lotha Tribal Council (LTC) Conference Hall on Saturday.
The new team of Lotha Youth Hoho for tenure 2022 to 2025 will be led by Limhathung N Yanthan as its president and Oreno Ngullie as the general secretary.
In a short gratitude and exhortation message from Lotha Hoho, Vice Chairman S. Mhonlumo Lotha expressed that the Lotha Youth Hoho is the backbone of the Lotha Hoho, and asked them to lead and guide the younger generation of Lotha community and Nagas in general in truth moral spirit.
He also thanked the outgoing team of Lotha Youth Hoho for rendering their valuable services stating that it is a selfless sacrifice in upholding and protecting the community interest. He also told the new team to carry forward with collective leadership, ideas and vision. Meanwhile, he informed the new team to stand against all odds and bring change.
A short speech was delivered by Yanpothung Ezung and Limathung N Yanthan, the outgoing and newly installed president of LYH respectively.
During the program, S. Abenthung Ngullie, general secretary LH and Convener of LYH search committee introduced the new team of LYH. The program was chaired by Amos Odyuo, joint secretary LH, and Zurenthung Humtsoe, Assistant Pastor Wokha Town Baptist Church blessed the new team of LYH.
