Mokokchung, October 1 (MTNews): The members of Kohima Press Club (KPC) has condoled the demise of Rovi Seyie, father of KPC vice president Asa Seyie, who passed away on October 1 at age 104.

“Besides being a fatherly figure to us KPC members, Late Rovi Seyie has been a pioneer and a mentor to many in the society. He was the first Christian convert from Mengujuma village and also the first pastor of the village, a position which he had served for well over two decades and continued to guide his successors and the public, both young and old, throughout his lifetime,” the press club said.

While the press club mourned the loss of a loving father, an uncle, a grandfather, a visionary teacher, a Christian pioneer, and a powerhouse of knowledge and wisdom, the club celebrated and cherished his life: a life well-lived with a legacy to remember and conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the Vice President and his family.
