PHED Mokokchung Division observed World Toilet Day on November 19, 2022 by organizing ‘Swachhata Run’ under the theme ‘Groundwater and Sanitation- Making the invisible visible’. The objective of this exercise was to build awareness on the importance of toilets, safe sanitation and total cleanliness.

In the run, participants from Settsu village and Aolijen participated. Each participant took the Swachhata pledge before they started off. Winners were awarded with cash prizes. The department also distributed toilet cleaner to all the participants.
