Mokokchung, November 22 (MTNews): The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has directed business establishments within its jurisdiction as well as the tenants under MMC Shopping Complex to refurbish their respective shops on or before November 30 in view of the festive season.
All tenants under MMC Shopping Complex have been directed to paint the present color i.e maroon on the shutter and white on the walls for MMC complex and satin-blue color on the doors and windows and white color on the walls for B Block buildings for uniformity. No tenant is allowed to paint their shops with the colour of their choice, MMC informed.
Besides, it was informed that proper waste boxes must be maintained in front of the shops for garbage disposal.
Meanwhile, all the business establishments/shops within MMC jurisdiction have been directed to clean up/white wash their respective buildings and surroundings on or before November 30. Satin-blue colour on the doors and windows and white colour on the walls must be used uniformly, MMC instructed.
Further, it was also mentioned that LED bulbs for lighting in front of the business establishment should be used for lighting the shop premises during night time and a Waste Box must be maintained in front of the shops for garbage disposal.
ADC and Administrator of MMC, Chumlamo Humtsoe stated in the information that non-adherence to the directives will attract appropriate actions.
